Three years ago we held the first ever Nordic Transformers convention, in Arlöv in Sweden. The convention was a big success - we had presentations, competitions, a customizing class, a popular art contest, an exhibition with some more exotic Transformers figures and other sci-fi figures, a sales room, plus the worldwide première of the first episode of Transformers Animated. People came, chatted, mingled, and had fun! Now we're aiming even higher - this year's show will feature even more activities and events, our first special convention figure, other exclusive material, and possibly a few surprises as well!

The programme is far from finalized, but here are some of the features that we plan to offer:

• Panels and presentations
• Competitions and quizzes, with prizes donated by Hasbro Nordic.
• Art galleries/competitions, with several categories for both 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional works.
• Displays
• Dealer/trading area, with opportunities not only for buying figures, but for selling/trading your own items.
• A convention programme/magazine that the fans will contribute to.
• Special convention figure (at an extra cost)
• Dinner on Saturday (at an extra cost)

Please note:

• The primary language of the convention is English. Depending on the number of attending children we might do some events (competitions in particular) in Danish as well, but at the moment we can't make any such promises.
• The currency used at the convention is Danish kroner, DKK. We advise attendees to get their money exchanged before the convention, and dealers to convert their prices to DKK. Also, we do not have the capacity to handle card payments at the convention; only cash is accepted.

About the NTFA:
The NTFA - the Nordic TransFans Association - is one of the oldest running online TF fan communities, and is primarily a forum for fans from the Nordic countries to meet and talk and share news. Although our members are primarily from Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Iceland, we always welcome any and all new members from all around the world. Founded in 1998, and with the NTFA website opening in 2001, the club has over 400 registered members today and is one of the largest fan communities in Europe.
